IMAGINATE One Day Conference
Friday April 21 at 9:00am - 4:00pm
Featuring keynote by Cormac Russell!
Cormac Russell is a social explorer, an author and a much sought-after speaker. He is the Founding Director of Nurture Development and a member of the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) Institute, at DePaul University, Chicago. Over the last 25 years, Cormac’s work has demonstrated an enduring impact in 35 countries around the world. He has trained communities, agencies, NGOs and governments in ABCD and other community-based approaches in Africa, Asia, Australia/Oceania, Europe and North America.
Conference Presenters:
Morning breakout sessions will be used to build on Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) knowledge shared in keynote. Led by Jon Massimi, Claire Holloway Wadhwani and Green Wood Community 101 Facilitators, David Sheffield and Jenny Whyte
Choices for the afternoon breakout sessions will include a screening of 'How to Lose Everything' by author Christa Couture and animator bekky O'Neil, 'Hope is Handmade, LivingRoom Community Art Studio, facilitated by Mary Krohnert or workshop, 'Making Space for Holding Space', facilitated by Jenny Kennedy-Bloom and Tammy Kuehne of Community Education (One City PTBH).
